Review about English class at Camba
I’m very happy to study English at Camba! I really think that Mr. Jonathan’s lessons have helped me a lot particularly in speaking, writing and reading English! Since I had his lesson my English has improved, but not only that, he always encourages me so I could have a lot of confidence through this lesson! He is really a good teacher and a good talker! I am learning the pronunciation and practicing the conversation. I always have a lot of fun and can have plenty of time to speak in the lesson. The teacher is very friendly and he explains the difficult sentences or words in simple English. It is very important for me! Moreover, communicating through the zoom is quite simple. I consider it a great achievement to establish studies via the Internet in such a difficult pandemic time. Thanks to Mr. Jonathan and Camba for the opportunity to learn English! The first: I reside in a country that speaks English, and language is very important for communication. Without English, I can't find opportunities to work, to talk with someone, or to use my skills in this community. The second: I would like to learn something more in America. Right now it is impossible, because my language is really weak. In the past, I sometimes thought English was difficult. Now I think, English is easy, but practice is necessary. Makes Mibel I do not remember the month when I started taking CAMBA lessons, but I came to CAMBA because I am very interested in speaking English. Janita Profaite Hi, I’m going to tell you about my time at CAMBA. On July 20th 2019, I started as a student at CAMBA. I was put in level 2, and my first teacher was Shannon. She was a good teacher. For my second class, my teacher was Ms. Carol. She too was very good, nice, and polite, etc. For my third class, I had Caitlyn. Just like my other professors, she’s nice, caring, wise, and cares a lot about her students. My favorite quality is that she’s patient because this way I learn faster than I would. So many thanks to the directors of CAMBA and to the teachers as well. |

So many thanks to the directors of CAMBA and to the teachers as well. FROM: Ms. C. H. Lawrence Class Malek Ali: The coronavirus is making me sad because I have to stay home with my family. It changed my life because I stopped working and going outside. I don’t see my friends. It has been a bad thing for me. Before, I woke up every morning. I took a shower, brushed my teeth, ate breakfast, and I went to work. Now, it changed my routine. I stay home. When I go outside, I use gloves and face masks. I wash the things that I bring home from outside. I wash my hands a lot with soap. I do exercise sometimes. I like to do distance learning (English class online) because it makes me safe. Right now with coronavirus, online is better. Judeline Omitil: The pandemic is making me very stressed. Every country has the pandemic. Some people have died in every country. The pandemic changed my daily routine. When I go outside to the supermarket, I have to wait in line six feet apart (social distancing). I don’t like waiting in line. I’m very stressed. I love my grandma and my husband. I love to kiss my grandma and my husband. My baby depends on me. The pandemic changed my daily routine. I don’t like taking English class online because my grandma calls me all the time and I can’t concentrate. Shahida Tanveer: I felt scared because of coronavirus. I am bored because there is no activity to do. It is not easy to go outside anymore. I walk on the treadmill to stay healthy. I like distance learning because I can learn at home. I like my English teacher. I don’t like social distancing because I can’t go to school. Aminata Keita: I feel nervous because I can’t go outside and I can’t go to school. Everyday, I’m OK. I stay in my bed and I talk to my teacher, I write English exercises and I’m happy. I stay home and I rest and relax, and I go for walks. I wash my hands and I wear a face mask, and gloves. I like distance learning because coronavirus is no good. I’m scared to get coronavirus from people. James Pierre: COVID-19 is a very contagious disease. When you have it, you feel some symptoms like fever, headache, you feel chills ... My experience with the COVID-19 is teaching me to be careful in my life. Wash my hands more often, when you are in a contagious area you wear a face mask, put on gloves and social distancing. I am very sad, I don't see my great parents, my friends. We're scared and don't want to get sick. Every day I stay home with my family. My experience with distance learning, it's really nice for me because I meet my classmates, make new friends, meet new the teacher and keep learning. I am very happy to listen to my classmates and to know that my friends are healthy. Francelina De Leon: I feel scared and sad because this forces us to use social distance and stay away from all of the people I love. It's changed my daily routine completely. Now, I can't go to school, go outside, or hug my friends. To stay healthy, I'm using a face mask, and wash my hands with soap and water, and eat healthy food. My experience with distance learning is good and it is my first time. I like it because no matter the situation, we can continue to learn. However, I like going to school better because I feel we can learn more. Francelis Mejia De Tejeda: The pandemic changed my like and that of my family in many ways, and my daily routine completely. My emotions with everything that is happening with the COVID-19 is sad, anxiety, but at the same time I feel good because I take care of my son. I lost my job, my husband is the only one working. When I go shopping at the supermarket, use hand sanitizer, gloves, mask and we use social distancing from other people. My experience with the distance learning is good. I'm learning to use Zoom. I like the distance learning class, but it's a challenge for me because I can’t speak English and I spell words wrong. I don't like when my son starts crying in the middle of the class. |
